At the helm of JD Institute of Fashion Technology – Vadodara are Shivraj Gaekwad and Prajakta Bhogle, a dynamic duo who bring together decades of expertise in design, education, and creative leadership.

Shivraj Gaekwad is a seasoned design and education professional with over 15 years of rich experience in the industry and entrepreneurial ventures. A passionate educator and accomplished design practitioner, he is committed to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications across fashion, jewellery, and allied creative disciplines.

Prajakta Gaekwad is a strategic communication designer and creative educator with over 18 years of multidisciplinary experience in branding, visual communication, content, and design education. Her approach blends storytelling, cultural insight, and design thinking to mentor students into becoming thoughtful, industry-ready creatives. With a deep understanding of both creative execution and communication strategy, she plays a key role in shaping the academic narrative and vision of the institute.
